Loneliness

Loneliness can make you feel abandoned, misunderstood, or excluded from your community, forcing you to navigate life on your own and shape your own path. You can feel lonely even when surrounded by people, just as you can be alone without feeling lonely. Some people are quite satisfied living without a partner, while for others it’s a big problem that can also cause feelings of resentment. For many people, loneliness—even through choice—can trigger a painful crisis. The core of loneliness often lies in the anxiety of not being able to share your situation with anyone else. Putting your thoughts and feelings into words and expressing them, knowing that someone else is listening, is definitely a way out of loneliness. After all, this is the heart of all human contact.
