Positive Psychology
Positive psychology uses scientifically proven tools and methods to enhance success and optimise our lives, not just in the workplace but in all areas of life. It’s about focusing on developing an individual’s potential to build a better life and identifying and supporting exceptional skills and strengths. A “good life” or a more “meaningful life” can be created by becoming aware of our strengths and talents and finding a more optimistic outlook on life.
Stress can close the doors to your creativity and optimism, so taking breaks and practising meditation may be essential to restoring inner balance. This is just one of the many tools used in Positive Psychology. Additionally, analyses focus on identifying what gives an individual meaning and motivation in their work, as well as recognising their strengths to effectively pursue their career goals. Further research can be done to see if optimism can be increased.
The mental capacity and spiritual drive we possess enables us to act beyond our instincts. It’s in our nature to contemplate the meaning of life. So Positive Psychology also encompasses spiritual or trans-psychological aspects, offering a more holistic view of the individual.
