Workplace meditation for employees and business leaders

Workplace meditation is one of many new personal development programmes and especially became relevant after the WHO predicted that stress would be the number one cause of diseases by the year 2020. So let’s start by preventing this from happening at your workplace!

 

Brain scans have revealed clear neural correlations and connections between meditation and the brain’s response. Neurological researchers, both internationally and in Denmark, suggest that it is possible to train the brain and consciousness to become more naturally present, patient, and compassionate, thus enhancing emotional intelligence. This enhanced emotional intelligence leads to greater empowerment, fostering improved focus, concentration, creativity, positive self-management, self-empowerment and stress management, and even boosts the immune system. This increases employee satisfaction, prevents stress and reduces sick leave in the workplace.

 

The course focuses on mindfulness, meditation and positive psychology. The course alternates between short theoretical presentations, exercises in cleansing breathing techniques, light relaxation and meditation.

 

The tools learnt in the 3 x 3-hour course are well documented and effective for stress management. The 3 x 3-hour sessions are spread over 3 days and over 3 weeks.
