Testimonials from course participants

“One of the best things that has happened to me. Meditation is worth its weight in gold in my daily life.”

Lone, 41 years old, associate professor

“The mindfulness course feels like a ‘fresh start’ to my daily life. Mindfulness has taught me to live more in the present and not always worry about the future – which you can’t predict anyway!

I’ve also gained valuable insights into how meditation boosts energy, control, and personal conflict resolution. I think everyone should have insight into this treasure and Isabella is an amazing coach. I really hope people read how much of an impact mindfulness has had on me.”

The meditation I learnt on the course has given me a greater insight into myself and my thought patterns. As a result, I have more joy and energy in my daily life and I sleep much better at night, which used to be a big problem for me. I wouldn’t trade what I’ve learnt on the course for anything, and Isabella has been a fantastic ‘teacher’ throughout, with useful and inspiring input.”

Lise, 28 years old, buyer

“Dear Isabella, after the Mindfullnes course I have learnt a lot about myself. I’m calmer on the inside. I benefited from both the breathing exercises and meditation. I learnt that I am ok. A valuable resource that can be used again and again. You are a wonderfully positive teacher, a counsellor who radiates calmness and is highly skilled at what you do.”

“I never imagined I would do meditation, but joined by a coincidence and I thought to myself, well, why not? Actually, I thought this probably isn’t for me with my logical/mathematical/ business brain, while meditation is a bit ‘Woohoo’! I imagined sitting in a circle chanting words in an almost cult-like setting. But I was so wrong!

Mindfulness is a scientific course based on modern psychology, with a highly professional teacher who manages to turn meditation into something undramatic, something safe, and above all a realisation that it’s all about you. It is my opinion right now that I will use this for the rest of my life and that it will make a difference, boost my energy, mood, etc. I highly recommend Mindfulness to others: couples, singles, also men – especially men. It is straightforward with the right instructor (and that’s important!) and with your own positive attitude.”

“What I’ve gained from the course is that I am better able to manage high-pressure situations and stay calm. I’m better able to deal with other people’s problems without ‘absorbing’ them and turning them towards myself, but I am now able to view the situation from the outside as a third person and thus maintain a neutral perspective and be able to advise others. “I think that as an instructor, Isabella has a strong grasp of the bigger picture and shows genuine empathy towards her participants.”

Steffen, 43 years old, teacher

“The course gave me great tools to ‘control’ my thoughts, or rather to ensure that my thoughts don’t control me. I realised that my thoughts are not me. That they automatically appear and are not necessarily true. My thoughts affect my mood, but by observing them from a distance as just thoughts, they no longer impact me as negatively as they once did.”

“Isabella’s mindful approach to teaching makes each class feel like an exciting and enjoyable journey. She embraces every moment – whether we’re struggling, unsure, or simply have different preferences. It makes the environment for learning much more supportive and engaging.

Her vast knowledge of all kinds of meditation also means that she can answer all the questions we ask – and if she doesn’t know the answer, she’ll find it!

For me, mindfulness is about becoming more aware of myself in a busy and sometimes stressful world. It’s a time-consuming and difficult process that I don’t think will ever end. It’s slowly giving me more peace and insight and the courage to make the right choices in my life. My journey has only just begun… and I’m excited for what is to come! So far, I can recommend both the journey and the guide.”

Iben, 42 years old, teacher and coach

“We attended Isabella’s 8-week mindfulness course as a couple and have really enjoyed it. As individuals, but also as a couple. Talking through things and experiences together. Setting the alarm 30 minutes earlier in the morning to meditate. Last but not least, we enjoy the experiences we have together when we meditate and the fact that we focus on being mindful together and towards each other. Highly recommended!”

“We attended an 8-week course in Mindfulness Meditation with Isabella. For us, the main purpose of the course was to gain tools to navigate the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing us to break free from the constant pressure of what we ‘should’ be achieving, focusing instead on what we truly want to fill our lives with. We also needed to get a grip on some of the mechanisms that governed our thoughts, our behavioural patterns and our actions. Finally, we needed to have more ‘experiences’ together that would give us a common reference point in our communication with each other.

After the 8-week course, the purpose of our attendance has been more than achieved. It has actually been achieved to such an extent that it’s as though we’ve made a fresh start together and have created a common ground and a common understanding of life together. We’ve been given a toolbox of different techniques and have been able to pick the ones that suit us best. We’ve learnt to focus on each other and be there for each other when needed. The things that previously blocked us from having time to listen to each other now have to wait until after we’ve had a chance to talk. We’ve learnt how effective meditation is at tapping into and processing negative thought patterns, and how to deactivate our ‘autopilot’ so that we don’t react the way we always have done. Finally, mindfulness meditation is a gift when it comes to recharging your batteries in a relatively short time – it’s almost like taking a power nap. The main difference is that you’re consciously aware of letting your thoughts come and go without dwelling on them. So meditating is usually a good and positive experience – even if the topics or thoughts aren’t necessarily positive. You can choose the positive approach, regardless of the topics or thoughts.”
