Authorised Psychologist Isabella Pedersen (b.1965) is based in the heart of Copenhagen. I am a psychologist authorised by the Danish Supervisory Board of Psychological Practice, and I graduated from Aarhus University in 2003.

I am a member of the Danish Psychological Association (Dansk Psykolog Forening) and am trained in both cognitive therapy and ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy). I also have training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocession), couples therapy and body and Gestalt therapy. I’m also a trained hypnotherapist from PSKH (Psykologfagligt Selskab for Klinisk Hypnose).

I have been a psychologist in private practice since 2003, with my own clinic in Aarhus until 2012. Since autumn 2011, I have been practising in Copenhagen, where I opened my clinic at Nørregade 41, 1165 Copenhagen K.

This means that you can use your health insurance if it is provided by: Skandia, Lifeline and Mølholm A/S, Tryg alarm via SOS, IHI, Top Danmark, Codan and Alm. Brand, etc. Please note! You have to pay for the consultation yourself.

In addition, it is also possible for members and employees of Dansk Sygepleje Råd (Danish Nursing Council) and Journalistforbundet (Danish Union of Journalists) to receive psychological help through short coaching programmes. It is also possible to receive psychological help if you work for the Danish state, are employed by a municipal company, institution, etc. or have been granted help via Soldater Legatet.

1989: 2 seasons of yoga (1989–1990) with a focus on Yoga Nidra meditation at Yogaskolen in Vestergade Aarhus. Followed by yoga at various centres across the country. This life-giving practice has continued to this day.
